Identity Destruction branches are all fully managed by CCTV. We are more than happy for you to stay and witness your documents and hard drives going through the destruction process if you wish to.

Shredding

We use high-torque commercial 'Cross' Shredders. The industry standard shred size is a staggering 16-22mm; however, our shred size is 6-16mm as we believe in providing our customers with the highest level of security.

Hard drives

Our Hard Drive Destruction service is second to none and our bespoke hard drive shredding machines shred over 200 hard drives per hour. PC and Laptop hard drives are shredded into tiny shards of metal which 100% annihilates all held digital data!

Certificate of Destruction

We always provide a full Certificate of Destruction for all of our clients.

The certificate is necessary to prove that you dispose of your business's confidential documents and hard drives responsibly and securely in order to comply to the General Data Protection Regulations 2018).

For non-commercial clients, the Certificate of Destruction provides proof and peace of mind that your personal and family paperwork has been destroyed professionally.

Waste Carrier's License

Identity Destruction Limited is registered with the Environment Agency, and we hold an up-to-date Waste Carrier's License no. CBDU312007.

We work in conjunction with the Environment Agency to keep our clients' Duty of Care Certificates correct and up to date, also providing annual Certificates for our business customers. Identity Destruction also provides a Waste Transfer Note (WTN) according to our Duty of Care.

The WTN details our Business clients as the producer of the waste and Identity Destruction as the collector and processor and details the correct European waste category for paper, magnetic media, and computers collected for shredding & destruction.
